Background

Pitta went to the same school as Pranaiya, and the scene here portrays the emotion reflecting upon Pranaiya and her difficulties. Supanit, the photographer, took photos as Pranaiya and Hamish’s wedding and they enjoyed the candid moments she captured. You can watch some of Pitta’s reflections in the video section of the exhibition.

Photographer Profile: Supanit Riansrivilai

Supanit graduated with a BA in Dramatic Arts from Chulalongkorn University.  Her training in drama and technical theatre had enriched Supanit's interest in people; enabling her to perceptively journey through various human experiences and then vividly portray those dramatic moments in her work.

Supanit Riansrivilai's passion for photography emerged since a young age and flourished during her years in France where she pursued her Master of Arts in Professional Photography at SPEOS, Paris.  While studying, Supanit explored the continent with her camera and became fascinated in photojournalism and portrait photography.  In 2010, she traveled to New York City and interned at Magnum.

Supanit sees the world through her lens and speaks her words through her images.  She enjoys capturing the essence of live moments that transpires around her, especially the true emotions that already exist and are waiting to be encapsulated.

Supanit is currently an active member of the Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA), based in Bangkok.
