Our Mentors

  • Chantinee Boonchai (AM)

I have a 3 year-old daughter and have experienced PPD from when my child was 2 months old. I wish to support mums and primary caretakers who are dealing with negative feelings towards parenthood and pressure from the social media and the world around them. I can help from the perspective of someone who has been through that myself, listening without passing judgement, and providing support.

I have a BSc in life sciences from NUS Singapore and Master and PhD in environmental management from University of Queensland in Australia. I am currently a lecturer at Prince of Songkla University Phuket Campus.

  • Suchaya M (Chaya)

I have experienced and fought the fight against a life-long mental illness firsthand. I also have witnessed some of my friends who are going through challenges that PPD brings and wish I could have possessed enough knowledge and skills to help them out. I know how living with a mental challenge is like; but I also know that it can be overcome. By realizing the illness itself and that many other moms out there are surviving and striving, PAM Group Support is where I hope to be part of in helping moms suffering the symptoms.

In my current role as a United Nations officer, I have been facilitating and moderating numerous events and functions. For PAM Group Support, I would like to create a space for people to feel safe and comfortable to share and freely talk about what they are going through.

  • Aparat Siripat (Eib)

As a mother of a three-year-old daughter, I have experienced firsthand the challenges of motherhood, I would like to help create a safe space for other mums to listen and share their stories and experiences. My goal is to make mothers feel a little bit more relaxed and happy. Also, I would be glad to provide some emotional support for parents who are struggling with their new roles.

  • Rasee Govindani (Rasee)

I am a Thai- and English-speaking Bangkok doula and childbirth educator. I have been a doula for 10 years and have had the privilege of supporting thousands of families in their parenting journeys.

I want birthing people to have positive birth experiences, whether that is an unmedicated birth, a vaginal birth with an epidural, or a scheduled Cesarean. I want birthing people and their families to feel respected and to be treated with kindness and love during a vulnerable and important time in their lives. Even after all these years, I still feel privileged every single time I am invited to support a family prenatally, through labor and birth, and during the sacred postpartum period.
